IT specialists from the Gdansk branch office of Playsoft (a company that has been selected by Microsoft to create an application that comes at the same time as the WP7) created a project on the latest Windows Phone 7 platform. This is an application for one of the most popular, French newspapers, "LeFigaro”.

Good news for Tri-city ports: Slovak government announced the resignation from the construction of broad gauge railway line bypassing Poland, including ports of Gdansk and Gdynia. This means that cargo from China, Russia and Ukraine will continue to be directed to the terminal at Slavkov in Silesia, which has regular trains to the DCT terminal in Gdansk.

The project is on the initial stage. It is worth 800 mln PLN. According to Joanna Zakrzewska, the PGNiG representative, infrastructure for the CNG (compressed natural gas) receipt would complement the gas supply in Tricity and would create a possibility for its delivery for the energetic and electric projects, that could come into existence in the region.
GDANSK NEW TERMINAL

The Port of Gdansk leased recently 40ha of land to the North Port Handling Company. As part of the investment, the coal handling terminal with a capacity amounting to 12mln tones per year, was created in this land. The project, through which the Port may increase imports of raw material, is worth 40mln EUR.
